BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors for Yellow Thunder consists of nine members, each elected for three-year terms. Each year, three new board members are elected at the annual meeting to replace the three who have served their three years. No three-year board member can return to the board until he or she has been off for at least one year.

CLUB NEWSLETTER

A club newsletter is mailed out to all members and landowners monthly from November thru April, and bi-monthly for May/June, July/August, and September/October. The newsletter summarizes on-going events, recaps recent activities, provides other important updates, and lists upcoming events..

MEETINGS

Yellow Thunder meetings are held monthly, on the second Tuesday, except as specified. Starting time is 7:00pm. Meeting locations vary between different club member home's and businesses, mostly eating establishments, and following the annual meeting in March the calendar for the next twelve meetings is established by the Board of Directors. The January meeting is held the second Sunday during the afternoon, in conjunction with a snowmobile ride-in souparee/chili feed and there is a club meeting/picnic held in September.

• Incorporated under the laws of the State of Wisconsin
• A federally recognized 501()(7) tax exempt organization.
• A member of CCASC, DCCSC, and AWSC.
• Club Membership for 2007-2008 was:
• 191 full-active members
• 159 landowner (honorary) members
• 18 commercial sponsors

TRAIL SYSTEM

The Yellow Thunder trail system consists of over 65 miles of club and state funded trails, groomed by our three class-A groomers and drags, which consist of two Tuckers and one tractor. Yellow Thunder trails interconnect in all directions with other snowmobile trails. All trails are signed and meet or exceed the Wisconsin DNR's snowmobile trail standards.
