MERR.COM VOICE SERVICES

Residential and Business Lines, Local, Long Distance and International Rates:

Merr.com phone service operates over broadband internet connections, such as cable modems, DSL, T1 lines, etc. Merr.com provides analog, SIP, PRI or T1 interfaces to a customer’s home phone or business phone systems. Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) packets are transmitted from the customer's equipment to the Merr.com switch where signals are converted to standard Time Division Multiplex (TDM) format and then forwarded to the traditional telephone network system.

Requirements:

Broadband Connection: Cable modem, DSL or T1. (Broadband provided for phone service by Merr.com for telephone only users connected to the Merr.com cable plant and combination cable modem and telephone users with 5 lines or more.)
Automatic credit or debit card billing (except for customers connected to the Merr.com cable plant)

Taxes & Fees:

Universal Service Fund (USF): variable 8.4% of total
State Sales Tax: 5% of total
County Sales Tax: 0.5% of total
Police & Fire Protection Fee: $0.75 per line (0-10 lines), $0.075 per line (lines over 10)
911 Fee: $0.99 per location
