MERR.COM CABLE TV POLICY Merrimac Area Cable subscribers will be billed on a monthly basis. Each statement will be for the upcoming month. No refunds or credits will be given if you disconnect during a month. There is a $25.00 fee for installation of service which includes up to four outlets. For each additional outlet there is an installation fee of $40.00 per hour (1/2 hour minimum) plus parts. Any subscriber who has not paid their bill prior to the next month's billing will receive a notice of disconnect. If payment has not been made prior to the 10th of the month, service will be disconnected. Once service has been disconnected, there is a reconnect fee to have service reinstalled. Reconnect Fee due to Non-Pay Disconnect: Within a fiscal year, the 1st reconnect fee is $25.00, the 2nd time is $35.00, the 3rd time is $45.00, and the 4th time will require a $45.00 fee with pre-payment of monthly service beyond the next month's billing cycle and may require a current credit card to be kept on file. Reconnect Fee due to Seasonal Disconnect: $15.00. If you call by 10 p.m., we will reconnect your service the next business day. A 1.5% service charge will be assessed on any past due amounts. Rental equipment must be returned at the time of cancellation. If you do not return the product within 30 days of cancellation, we will charge you for the entire replacement value of the equipment. It is the customer's responsibility to keep and/or update a current address and phone number(s) on file. If we become aware of legal issues, credit or other monetary issues for either an active customer or someone who wishes to be a new customer, we reserve the right to ask for a full year's down payment for services plus a security deposit on any rental equipment to be installed.
